What worked, and what would have helped
Not what went wrong. What worked, and what would have.
Every account here is asked a fourth question: what worked, and what would have made it even better? It is the only one of the four that turns a story into something somebody could actually do: keep what worked, and build what was missing.
So this page is only the answers to that question, gathered in one place, in the words of the people who lived them. Nothing on this page is a complaint. Every line describes something working, or something that would have.
It is not a roadmap, and it is not a demand. It is what people said, and it grows whenever somebody answers that question.
A notification when it arrived, as the waitlist screen promised, or at least a note in Settings.
A way to be told plainly where things stood, and a way to answer back.
The energy of the disappointment turned very quickly into the concept for the image on the home page. After that, the rest just flowed out — like puzzle pieces showing themselves where they fit. I am curious to see what those pieces do now, as one thing: Siriology.com.
I wanted to channel that energy into something constructive and impactful. Not just for me, but for the many people who may not have had the opportunity, or the voice, to do it themselves. A sounding board for others in the Apple community, made in a mindful way, because the world needs that now more than ever.
We are living in a world where human connection is being tested in so many ways. This was my contribution to making Apple human again — the soul and the heart that have been missing for a while now.
This has been a true passion project, as a Crazy One. I have done my part in trying not only to Think Different, but to Do Different and Be Different — in the true sense.
At least my version of Apple.
